About the Brand

Rootlab is all about what beauty school doesn’t teach you. A hair focused course, this soulful stylist school is here to give the insights on the hair industry that aren’t common knowledge. Through years of doing hair, Rootlab was created to share those learnings and create hair products with a little bit of edge and style. 

Our Contribution: Branding

RootLab came to us with a mission and a goal to be different. So we emphasized the confidence, empowerment, and chic-ness that made up RootLab. We curated a custom color palette and that was bright and grounding and hand picked fonts & custom graphics that were loving yet empowering.

Our Favorite Part

An essential aspect of this branding was to lean into the Gen-Z playfulness that this brand was targeting. We accomplished this through designing various branding elements with that Gen-Z flare and choosing exciting colors that cohesively tied everything together. The making of the color palette was inspired to have endless possibilities and always be trendy.
